Degrees are posted on official transcripts approximately six to seven weeks after the end of the semester in which they are awarded. Diplomas are typically available two to three months after the end of the semester in which the student graduated. The degree award date is the last day of the graduating term.

Diploma Name and Address

Diplomas will be issued based on the preferred name and primary home address in Workday.

• Email studentrecords@cca.edu with diploma name if different from the preferred name.
• Update mailing address by following these instructions. Physical diplomas are sent via USPS certified mail to domestic and international addresses.

If your primary mailing address is one of the residence halls of CCA, please make sure to update your mailing address. We don’t mail your diploma to the residence hall once you graduate.

We are currently not offering on-campus diploma pick-up at this time. The Student Records's Office does not retain a copy of your diploma.

Students with a double major will be issued one diploma and the diploma will list both majors.

Minors and concentrations are not noted on diplomas. Minors and concentrations are posted to academic transcripts.

Starting with the Spring 2021 graduating class and forward, CCA teamed with Parchment to offer an official digital version of your diploma along with your physical diploma.

How to Access your Digital Diploma

• Check your CCA email for the award notification.
• Follow the link to set up your Parchment digital credentials account.
• Log in to your Parchment Award account.
• Share your digital diploma or download a secure PDF.

Your digital diploma will always be accessible through your Parchment account.

Consistent with college policy, diplomas will not be distributed to students who have a financial hold on their account; all past due balances must be cleared in order for diplomas to be released. Active student holds are displayed in Workday, under Academics “My Holds” section. Please contact Student Accounts to resolve outstanding holds. Once your hold has been cleared, Student Accounts will notify us to issue your diploma.

Note: official transcripts are not impacted by financial holds and are the official proof of conferred degrees. For information on ordering official transcripts, please see the transcripts webpage. 

Any alumni who have previously graduated and wish to obtain a copy of their diploma must submit a request through Parchment. It will take four to six weeks for diploma reprints to be processed and received.

If you graduated prior to Spring 2021 and would like a digital diploma, place an order on Parchment for a replacement diploma. You will receive both a digital version and a physical copy. Parchment does not offer an option to order a digital version without the physical copy.

We are pleased to offer CCA diploma frames that are gray and black and include a gold embossing of the college's name. Framing Success was chosen as the college's provider for its ongoing commitment to the environment.
