CCA strongly encourages all staff, faculty and students to install antivirus software on their computers, and keep it up to date at all times. For staff using a CCA laptop, Sophos Antivirus is required to be installed and running at all times.

Confirm Sophos Is Installed

On a Mac, if Sophos is installed and running, you'll see an "S" shield icon in the upper right corner of your desktop. Clicking on this icon will show you the status of Sophos protection on your computer.

Need Sophos for Your CCA Computer?

If you have a laptop issued to you from CCA, and do not see Sophos running on your computer, please contact Help Desk helpdesk@cca.edu. We will send you a link from Sophos to install a CCA-managed version of Sophos on your computer. More information will be provided in a response from Help Desk.

Need Sophos for Your Personal Computer?

CCA recommends Sophos Antivirus Home protection for both Mac and Windows PCs.
