GAME MAKING: GAME PROJECTS
Play the games created by students in the "Game Making Workshop," the first course offered in the Animation Program's new Games Track.
For their midterm projects, students were tasked with designing tabletop board games that are set in a world created in a prior worldbuilding assignment from earlier in the semester. With the global Covid-19 pandemic forcing CCA's campus to close, students revised their projects for being playable on the tabletop to being distributable online, so that they can take part in CCA's Virtual Game Faire.
I am left in wonder at my student's creativity, effort, and ingenuity in making games under unprecedented conditions -Zachary Walter, Assistant Professor in Animation, Game Arts Coordinator
