This studio is open to enrolled students of any major, staff, or faculty members as a space for active working.
Class reservations must be scheduled through campusevents.cca.edu Yards remain open for individual use at all times (class use does not supersede individual access).
Individual student access does not require prior reservations. Individual use must be respectful and not disruptive to class activities.
Pathways and egress should be maintained at all times so as not to hinder our community members using mobility assisted devices (ie mindful of materials, electrical cords, etc).
Specialized equipment use is allowed upon completion of an orientation.
About the Maker Yard 2
This outdoor maker space is located on the 1st floor of Double Ground and neighbors the following studios: Digital Craft Lab, Furniture, Sculpture, Model & Omni Shops.
This space is for active work only. There is no storage allowed. Users are expected to leave their workspace clean and tidy.
The covered walkway must remain clear of materials and projects at all times.
Facilities include a sink, first aid box, electrical outlets, hose bib, and work tables.
