Campus Life encourages all current students to join or create new Chartered Student Organizations (CSOs)! Your participation provides a valuable experience that can have a positive effect on your college years as well as your future professional and personal life. CSOs also contribute to the CCA community at large by involving others to work collaboratively toward a shared goal and are responsible for the vibrant campus life.

We look forward to helping you get involved!

Current Chartered Student Organizations (CSO)

  • CCA Community Members Only: Student Organizations Contact Information (CCA email required to view). This is a living document that updates consistently based on club activities on-campus. If you don't see one that matches your interest, consider chartering a new organization or contacting us to renew a previous CSO!

  • Academic Student Groups: Some student groups are sponsored by specific academic programs but may not be chartered through Campus Life. Be sure to check with your academic department to see if a relevant group exists or if you're interested in starting one.

How to Get Started

  • Complete the Charter Application Form (Note that the deadline for the fall 2024 semester was on 9/16/24. This will open again for the Spring 2025 semester at a later date).
  • Gather at least three members. (A new student club or organization must have at least three members to become chartered.)
  • Choose an advisor. Any faculty or staff member can be an advisor to a CSO. (Note: This person must be able to commit to your large events and programs on/off campus.)
  • Schedule a time to meet with the Campus Life staff for Chartered Student Organization training to learn the policies, resources, and benefits to being a CSO.

Renewing a Charter

  • For inquiries about reviving a previously existing CSO, email campuslife@cca.edu for next steps.
